چکیده

In the present study, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometer (LC-MS) was used to perform untargeted metabolomics analysis of white adipose tissue (WAT) and brown (BAT) in Tupaia belangeri during cold acclimation. Differences biochemical composition between WAT BAT were compared. Clarifying how two tissues respond lower temperature terms metabolomics, which elucidate metabolic process energy homeostasis regulation mechanism T. belangeri. The results showed that there 34, 59 20 differential metabolites WAT, compared with BAT, respectively. had significant differences various pathways such as sugar metabolism, amino acid lipid nucleotide closely related different biological roles tissues. Increasing concentrations intermediate products tricarboxylic (TCA) cycle, pyruvic acid, phosphoenolpyruvic (PEP) increasing TCA glyoxylate dicarboxylate metabolism likely increase thermogenic capacity response stress. There more acclimation than WAT. Moreover, responds stress by adjusting concentration metabolites.

Cold-Induced Changes in Gene Expression in Brown Adipose Tissue, White Adipose Tissue and Liver

Cold exposure imposes a metabolic challenge to mammals that is met by a coordinated response in different tissues to prevent hypothermia. This study reports a transcriptomic analysis in brown adipose tissue (BAT), white adipose (WAT) and liver of mice in response to 24 h cold exposure at 8°C. Expression of 1895 genes were significantly (P<0.05) up- or down-regulated more than two fold by cold e...

Endocrine and Metabolic Signaling in Retroperitoneal White Adipose Tissue Remodeling during Cold Acclimation

The expression profiles of adiponectin, resistin, 5'-AMP-activated protein kinase α (AMPK α ), hypoxia-inducible factor-1 α (HIF-1 α ), and key enzymes of glucose and fatty acid metabolism and oxidative phosphorylation in rat retroperitoneal white adipose tissue (RpWAT) during 45-day cold acclimation were examined. After transient suppression on day 1, adiponectin protein level increased follow...

Transcriptome profiling of brown adipose tissue during cold exposure reveals

25 26 We applied digital gene expression profiling to determine the transcriptome of brown and white adipose 27 tissues (BAT and WAT, respectively) during cold exposure. Male C57BL/6J mice were exposed to cold 28 for 2 or 4 days. A notable induction of genes related to glucose uptake, glycolysis, glycogen metabolism 29 and pentose phosphate pathway was observed in BAT from cold-exposed animals....

Effect of cold acclimation on GSH, antioxidant enzymes and lipid peroxidation in brown adipose tissue.

Cold acclimation increased the activities of superoxide dismutase, catalase, total and selenium (Se)-dependent glutathione peroxidases (GPx) and glutathione reductase by 2-4-fold in the brown adipose tissue (BAT) of cold-acclimated rats. Nevertheless, when expressed per unit protein, the antioxidant enzyme activities were unaltered. Sensitivity to lipid peroxidation and GSH levels both increase...
